Jean-François Morin is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Université Laval since 2006. His research interests include bottom-up synthesis of well-defined carbon nanomaterials, organic semiconducting materials, open-shell molecules and organic electronics. He has published over 80 scientific articles, 4 book chapters and holds 5 U.S. patents in the area of organic electronics. He was awarded the Raymond-Blais Medal in 2009 for outstanding achievement of a scientist under 35 years of age.
